As a medium-sized law firm with specialist competence in all important areas of commercial law, we focus on singular subject areas which have emerged as a consequence of long years of specialisation.

Since the middle of the 1980s, we have been advising our clients under the authoritative lead management of our partner Dr Michael Tigges, LL.M., in corporate law, particularly in the area of company transactions and participations.

We have been represented in Poland since 1991 with our own office. Our partner Dr Georg Jaster renders assistance with his team to both German and also Polish companies.

In 1992 our partner Dr Guido Holler began to expand the tax law area, which was augmented in 1997 by tax advice. Income derived in the context of inheritance law is of increasing importance when structuring private assets.

Since 1998 we have had comprehensive advisory competence at our disposal in the area of sales and distribution systems, particularly in franchise law, in which our partner Professor Eckhard Flohr has been a recognised specialist for over twenty years, and which he oversees together with our partners Joachim Klapperich and Marco Hero.

In the year 2002, our partner Michael Niermann strengthened our team with his long years of experience in individual and collective employment law.

In 2004, we opened an office in Kitzbühel, under the management of Professor Eckhard Flohr, in order to be represented with our sales and distribution-law expertise in Austria as well.

In 2005, we expanded our range of services to include the areas of media law and insurance law, in which our partner Frank Büser has already been a specialist for quite a few years.
