Rechtsanwalt Albrecht Schulz
has joined our law firm as from 1 May 2009.

Mr. Schulz counts among the nationally and internationally renowned franchise experts for more than 20 years and is counsel to German and international companies when expanding at home and abroad. In the related fields of cartel and competition law as well as international sales law. Mr. Schulz also has a wide experience.

Mr. Albrecht Schulz was chairman of the IBA Committee International Franchising (1994 – 1998), he is a member of the legal committees of the German Franchise Association (DFV) and of the European Franchise Federation (EFF) as well as the German member of EuroFranchise Lawyers (EFL), an association of franchise experts in 17 European countries. He was a member of the Study Group Franchising of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), he is co-editor of “Das Franchise-System” and author of numerous publications concerning franchise and distribution law in German, English and French.

With Mr. Schulz’ entry into the law firm TIGGES Rechtsanwälte we are strengthening our competence in distribution and franchise law, henceforth there will be ten lawyers available to assist our clients in this field.
